by Krystalina Soash

In her second book, “Your Positive Potential: Action Steps for Self-Empowerment,” author Krystalina Soash presents a compilation of personal experiences, stories, and advice for moving past personal hardship to live a more productive life. Although not directly related to chiropractic, the book would interest readers who enjoy learning about natural self-help approaches or who interact with patients experiencing depression or insecurity.

The author demonstrates ways to exercise self-discipline and provides simple techniques to empower individuals to take action. “It is possible to overcome old wounds with proper professional guidance,” says Soash. “The outcome afterwards is a peace with oneself that surpasses all understanding.”

Focused on self-awareness, health, meditation, and relationships, the book contains recommended reading, proactive resources in asking for help and a 12-page journal for personal notes.

Radiant Wellness -- Books of interest to chiropractorsRadiant Wellness

by Mark Pitstick, DC

“You have a miraculous, magnificent body. You possess a powerful mind with rich emotions. You are a timeless spirit being. Are you ready to live accordingly?”

That’s the question asked by Dr. Mark Pitstick in his book, “Radiant Wellness: A Holistic Guide for Optimal Body, Mind & Spirit.” He helps readers do that by teaching “seven keys to looking, feeling, and being your very best — no matter what your current circumstances.” Pitstick explores such behavioral issues as sleep habits, exercise, diet, awareness, and inner cleansing. His chapter on natural health care, with an emphasis on chiropractic subluxation correction, is of particularly importance to the DC reader and makes the book suitable for chiropractic patients.

The book, which was originally published as “Balanced Living: Transforming Body, Mind, and Spirit” has won praise from Wayne Dyer, who calls it “a powerful approach to centering your life,” as well as Bernie Siegel, MD, Tedd Koren, DC, and Lendon Smith, MD, who wrote: “Dr. Mark Pitstick is incredible; I really appreciate his insights. We do not know what the word holistic means until we have read this book. He covers all the aspects of body, mind, and spirit.”

The author is founder of the Radiant Wellness Centers and has more than 35 years of training and experience in hospitals, pastoral counseling, clinical psychology, and holistic health care. He is a frequent speaker, workshop presenter, contributing writer, and guest on radio and TV shows.
